Before: This West L.A. home was cute enough, but needed to be updated with a little curb appeal. <previous
After: Because the space was small, landscape designer Susan Taylor used a variety of plants in
different colors and sizes to create interest. She used a warm-colored stone from the front door to
the street to make the entrance stronger and worked with an artist to create a one-of-a-kind banister
that would add curves to the straight lines of the house. Tall papyrus hides a hanging bench swing,
the first of many personal areas she created throughout the property’s gardens
